1) Fill the Lampe Berger with Lampe Berger Home Fragrance 1/2 -2/3 maximum. DO NOT completely fill the lamp or it will not function. 2) Insert the burner & place the stopper on. Allow the wick to soak for 20 Minutes. 3) Remove the stopper, light the Lampe Berger using a match or a lighter & allow the flame to burn for 2 minutes. 4) Blow out the flame. 5) Put the protective top back on (caution: the burner is very hot). Your Lampe Berger is now working. Enjoy the fragrance while the air is purified. 6) To stop the diffusion, remove the protective top & place the stopper back on the burner until you are ready for the next use (start at step 3).
